Partial refund

I sold multiple items to a single buyer, left feedback, printed out the orders, marked them shipped, and then went to pack them.

One was missing.

I shipped the other two immediately and Messaged the buyer that I would refund the third.

However, I don't see how to make a partial refund.

The paperwork seems to allow me to refund only the entire amount.

What am I missing?

 

Yes. I know I did it in the wrong order.

Yes. I know I will get an OOS Defect.

I'm just hoping to get away with only a neutral feedback.

Partial refund

Hi femme, I had to do a partial refund and went to my Seller Hub, then to the order details and  there should be a drop down menu on the right with "Send refund" as one of the choices. I believe you have to put in the reason for the refund. Partial refunds are allowed. Hope this works for you.

Find the item in the Hub, click the refund option in the dropdown, fill in the reason for the refund, enter the amount of the refund......Done.

Partial refund

I found it on my fourth try.

I think the primary problem was listing on dotCA and trying to refund on dotCOM.

Have I ever mentioned I am a technodolt?
