Problem With US Customer Checking Out

Hi,

I have a customer trying to checkout and it says I don’t ship to her country ( in the US) which I do.

Originally I had it set at flat rate and changed it back to calculated shipping and would refund her the difference and it still doesn’t work. Ive also changed the package dimensions to 14x14x14 cm as I’ve read this is a problem in previous threads. It’s at calculated shipping for tracked packet USA and I also have set to ship to the following: United States

I don’t know what else to do! Please help! This is the second day I’ve tried to help my customer. I’ve also told her to try in regular web browser. She is not giving up because this is a hard to find item.

Thanks!

Not sure if this will work in your case, but I had the same problem recently and fixed it by adding my buyer to my buyer exemption list in My Preferences.

That's true for expedited and xpresspost. min. is 21cm x 14 cm x 1mm
but for Small and tracked packet the minimums are 14cm x  9cm x 1mm

Problem With US Customer Checking Out

I tried but nothing worked and the seller and I exceeded our messages for the day after going back and forth. I don’t know if it’s something on her end but I’ve never had this happen before with any US buyer. Just hoping all my listings are ok.

Problem With US Customer Checking Out

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to resolve this problem and lost a sale. I just had a customer order an item from Illinois from one of my variation listings so the problem must be on the buyer’s end. She was using eBay.com I remember being in a newly developed area when I bought a new house and my postal code was not recognized online for a long time. That might be a long shot but who knows.. it’s still a mystery.

If anyone come across this problem as I have in the past and as others here have mentioned, check the shipping settings first as eBay system doesn’t seem to like anything under 13 cm in my experience for tracked packet and expedited. If it’s not it, it’s on the buyer’s end.

Did you try putting them on the exemption list as suggested in post 2?
