Today automatically relist no longer free

That's odd -- I've been seeing the auto-relist feature come up on mine, but for only one (1) time free for about the past 2 weeks.  However, a few weeks ago it was 3x free.  The image you posted shows 2x-free.  What's going on with this? 

At one of the recent Wednesday board hour, one of the eBay.ca staffers confirmed that the 3x-free relist feature had been reduced to 1x-relist, because (he said) so much relisting was overloading the site and proving to be ineffective in generating sales.  

But your screen shot says 2 times free, now I'm confused!  I'm going to check this the next time I list or relist an item.  Yesterday, it was still at 1 free relist for my items.

It is not 2 times free, but fee may apply if we tick the box auto relist.

Rose, the changes to the automatic relist feature were specified in an eBay announcement dated Oct. 23. I received notification of this both in my e-mail and in eBay messages.

It was originally 3x free relists, as you mentioned, but they quietly changed that to 1x a short time ago. After that change, they made the above announcement, effectively stating that the free 1x relist was being axed, and that relists would count towards your monthly allotment (making them pretty much useless).

The only thing that confuses me is that, as specified in the above announcement, the latest changes were not supposed to go into effect until Nov. 24. It is puzzling why asiahhijab is getting the prompt now. I just relisted an item this morning and still had the 1x free relist. Interesting.

Were you relisting on .com or .ca?

According to the .com announcement this change was supposed to start on November 5th. On .ca the announcement says it starts on November 24th.

As you mentioned, these relists are not really free as they will count towards your monthly free listings.

What are we talking about here? automatic re list or the list till it sells option, or are these the same thing?

After i read your comment I try lo list on dot ca and it still give 1 time automatic relist for free.
