Just had an Australian buyer tell me she was unable to purchase one of my items even though I have always sold to Australia. I went and checked on my site preferences page (which seems different now) and found Australia was checked off as a place I didn’t ship to. I have always shipped there so this is not something I did and when I clicked on Save I didn’t get a message to say my changes were saved so not even sure if my changes were made. I’m going to check again tomorrow, maybe it takes a while. In the meantime, I will ask my buyer to try to buy again.
I did check alerts and both USPS and Canada Post are shipping to Australia at this time.

Lots of odd stuff going on with your exclusions.........
You have a lot of exclusions but no consistency, some listings have a handful, some have dozens.
I also noticed another thing, when I look at your listings on .ca I see 308 results, when I look at your listings on .au I see only 195 and on .com I see 320 listings.
Do you have a specific listing (or listings) that is giving you problems?

Hi, I switched over to Wonder Lister from TL and am trying to set up my listings again using the WL exclusion list. I’m sure I have messed up some. I don’t find it easy to understand when I use the help videos.
The item no. that my buyer wants to purchase is 164188779302. I did try to fix it earlier today. I have no idea why some items do not show up on all the sites. I guess some older items show that I ship to more locations which I have tried to narrow down lately due to Covid.

I really just want to ship to the UK and the EU, Canada of course, The US, and Australia at this time.

I have tried to add UK back onto my site preferences. I removed it at the beginning of the pandemic and then decided to put it back. I must have done it 20 times and each mark for it to include all present listing, but it have never worked. It is too much to do over 800 listings individually.

Hi triber, I’ve checked all my preferences and I think I may be having the same type of problem with Australia. Even though I add it and save it, it just won’t stay there. This seems to have just started in the last few days though. I have had to go in and revise to manually add Australia to my listings. So far, I have only found a few. I’ll spot check each day. Strangely, UK seems okay though, not a problem for me. (Crossing my fingers!)
I added my Australian buyer’s ID to my exceptions list so hoping that may solve my current problem.

That is interesting. I added Australia and it has come up on my listings with no problem, still can't get the UK to stick.

Well, I reset my shipping info on that particular item plus I added my buyer’s ID to my exceptions list and she was able to purchase. Not sure which change worked, but something did, although it could have been a temporary glitch. I’ll be checking some other items as I list them.

Glad it worked out, I am just finding that UK buyers are just not purchasing.

Yes, I have only had a few UK buyers this year. I wonder if it has anything to do with the VAT now being handled directly through eBay. I bet a lot of purchases to the UK went as letterpost and didn’t get assessed any VAT. The UK VAT is quite high too.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that is having an effect given that UK buyers in general complain about pay taxes on imports even more than Canadians!
Just wait until July 1st when eBay starts collecting for all EU countries, that is really going to hurt sellers who do a lot of business with Europe (like me).
Of course people will get over it just like US buyers have adapted to paying Sales Tax on all eBay purchases.
