Zonos HS Code for Books

I was testing HS codes recommended in this forum in the Zonos prepay app and this for printed books.

On the Zonos prepay web page (manual input) I put in the 901.99.00 HS Code that was generally recommened but that did not work and Zonos showed it as invalid. 

Then put in 4901.99 with no zeros, and Zonos assigned it 4901.99.0092 and showed $0 tariffs. UK printed book for shipment to the US.

Is 4901.99.0092 the code being used by anyone else?

On the phone app I took a picture of a book, indicated China product and it came up with $0 tariffs as well but I could not see the HS code.

Found the answer.

- Printed books, brochures, leaflets and similar printed matter, whether or not in single sheets:
Other:

4901.99.0092 - Containing 5 or more pages each, but not more than 48 pages each (excluding covers)
4901.99.00.93 - Containing 49 or more pages each (excluding covers)

There are no Tariffs for books regardless of country of origin. The two that you posted are the ones to use.

I tried them both in Zonos and it showed $0 as well for tariffs.  I knew they were exempt but want to have the HS nailed down, thanks for the feedback.  Time to get listing again!

Where did you find that 901.99.00 was recommended for books? You simply missed the "4" in front, probably when doing the cut and paste... 😉

Ah, I dropped the 4 when posting to the board.  My Zonos test was with the 4 - screenshot below.  After that I found the correct codes.

4901.99.0092 - Containing 5 or more pages each, but not more than 48 pages each (excluding covers)
4901.99.00.93 - Containing 49 or more pages each (excluding covers)
