One of the ongoing problems sellers have with non-Canadian sales, is that in a Dispute we are often required to supply return postage.
Within the US (and within Canada) this is not a problem. The seller can send a USPS/CPO label to the buyer and if it is not used, the complaining buyer loses the case.
Internationally....
Is it possible, using Shippo!, to print a USPS label for an American buyer from a Canadian address?

You'd be printing a label from the American buyer's address to your address.
In theory, it should be possible -- but in practice I expect a few undocumented Shippo hoops to jump through...

And of course if I were the unhappy buyer, since Shippo! is also a US company, could my US seller send me a Canada Post label?
Do we have the name of the nice young man who was answering questions for a while there?
I deleted his emails. Sigh.

In theory, yes. You should be able to buy Canada Post shipping directly (at non-eBay rates).
In practice, my attempt to buy Canada Post shipping through Shippo for a non-eBay sale failed. I was trying to use my regular Canada Post rate (not eBay's) and got an error message. I didn't dig any deeper but just went directly to Canada Post's EST to get the label.
...
At this point in time the visible Shippo return label options seem to be if the seller sets it up in advance with a shipping service (that has the option), when they buy shipping. And those options generally DO NOT work cross border.

US sellers don't have a Shippo account as they still print labels through ebay or paypal. I suppose that it "might" be possible if they were able to set up an account. I am a feeling though that it isn't going to be that simple to print a label for another country's postal service.
