Does any one know if there is fees from Customs  I was told if items are over 20.00 then yes but not sure on ebay policy:

Buying via ebay's GSP from the USA:

The new trade agreement rules (effective July 2020) is

over $150 for duty, and over $40 for sales tax

If you are importing from the USA then the new duty free allowance is $150 and $40 sales tax free.

So if you buy something Made in the USA which costs you $125US - that's $156.25 Cdn.

You would pay no duty. You would pay the sales tax applicable in your province because the value is over $40Cdn..

Just to clarify something you suggested in your post, @rodm1975, customs charges are not a matter of eBay policy. They’re set by federal law.

The “import charges” you see on listings for items forwarded through the Global Shipping Program are estimates based on the customs charges paid on your behalf plus various processing and customs clearance fees.
