Another member copied my complete sell ad text, including font..Not at all fair or honest, especially considering the effort involved in creating an ad. Any suggestions on how to prevent this?

Hello 'insource',
The other seller may not even know he is not supposed to do that. He may think it is
okay to recycle whatever information he 'finds' on ebay. So therefore I would suggest
first sending the seller a gently worded note explaining that he will want to make up his
own listing. You can include the following link about it if you like:
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/policies/image-text.html
That ought to do the trick, but if the other seller is particularly belligerent, - on each of his
listings on the far right is a link to Report item.
Choose Copyright and trademark from Category, and then under Reason find
Images or text copied from your listing. The Detailed reason is obvious:
Copied pictures or text.
You won't see a change overnight, -- ebay has to ascertain that he has indeed swiped your
material, and not the other way round.
To begin, though, send a kind note to that seller. It may be all that is required, and if ebay needs
to look into the matter, your message exchange will be part of the evidence.
Good luck

The previous answer is sound but I will add that if you are serious about having it removed and the seller doesn't comply, you will need to call ebay and speak to the Trust and Something Or Other Department if they will put you through. Best of luck to you.
