Anyway to filter/search items that are offered in local currency only?

If I go to amazon.ca, I expect to pay in Canadian dollars. If I go to amazon.com, I will expect to pay in US dollars.

When I log in ebay.ca, I would like to see items that are offered and expect to be paid in Canadian dollars only. Anyway to search this way?

eBay does not work like that.

Sellers, wherever located - Canada - USA - China - UK - wherever - determine the currency of the listing.

eBay.com will show US$ or approximate US$ equivalent for items listed in currencies other than US$ while

eBay.ca will show approximate Cdn$ equivalent for listings listed in currencies other than Cdn$.

Please note that the approximate value does not include the currency conversion fee charged by the payment service (credit card, PayPal, etc...), typically about 2.5% to 3%.

So if you see a listing in US$ listing on eBay.ca for an equivalent of Cdn$ 100.00 (for example), expect your credit card or bank account to be charged about $102.50 to $103.00, including the conversion fee.

Here's what you can do. 

1. Ensure you are logged into www.ebay.ca

2. Filter your search results at left to Item Location and check the box next to CANADA only

3. Scroll through your search results to dollar amounts that are NOT italicized. If the price is in italics, it's being converted from USD to show you the approximate cost (not including conversion surcharges by your credit card or paypal) in CAD. If the price is straight up boldface, it's listed in Canadian dollars. No conversion costs 

4. It's the difference between C $44.36 and C $41.55

See what I'm saying? The first was listed in CAD by the seller; the latter was listed in USD by the seller. Both are Canadians selling in Canada.
