The seller is sending the prouct (a book) air-mailed via an international shipping company called Brokers World Wide shipping services.
They are also unwilling to send the book using USPS and are using expedited intl shipping. The book is $48.00 and the shipping is $13.00.
This already is expensive I don't want to spend more money on taxes.
Will their be additional taxes and a brokerage fee for this book? And how much will it be?
ALSO, I bought a similar book that was $42.00 and the shipping was $11.00 = $53.00 dollars using USPS and did not have to pay a dollar more upon recieving the product.

Hi Asendia(brokers) is an approved wholesaler of USPS. Item will arrive via mail and i do not think will be a factor in whether Canada Customs applies charges. One slides through with none and the next one assessed. Can never plan on not happening.

PS.. Duty and taxes on items over $20. Books are duty free but normal taxes for your province plus a $9.95 Canada Post fee for collecting.

When bidding on items that will be imported, always expect that you will be paying at least the CanadaPost service fee and applicable tax.
Then if CP forgets to charge you, you will be happy.
