Hello,
A few weeks ago, My Ebay (console) went completely blank. Although I have purchased items in 2016, I have _nothing_ in the history at all.
Recently, I had a package shipped via the Global Shipping program to an incorrect address. I am not able to make any claim against it because the number is invalid.
The seller has not yet received the item back (it was returned to the shipping depot) and I am unable to contact Ebay by _any_ means because it goes through an impossible gauntlet when I don't have a working item #.
Item number was: 131275601430
I'm really feeling helpless, and it makes me want to stop using Ebay as my go-to place of commerce if I cannot view an accurate purchase history or contact _any_ support.
Has anyone had a similar issue?
Winston

If your history is missing how do you know that is the correct number? Is that the item number on the email that you received from eBay when you made the purchase?
The return address on that package will likely be fot the shipping Center in Kentucky or the transfer station in Ontario so it is unlikely that your seller will receive it back. If the correct address was given to the seller but the delivery company did nit to take it to the correct address, the the gsp should be responsible for refunding you. Is that what happened or did you have the wrong address listed?

Check your PayPal history to get the actual eBay listing number.

This may also be useful.
Another poster worked this out for buyers who have not yet received their GSP shipment.
TRACKING SYSTEM FOR GSP
It's not user friendly... But I found how to track your package via the global shipping program, once it gets to Canada you need to:
- Log on to eBay.ca
- Under the My eBay menu select Purchase History
- Under your orders find the specific order. It should have something like the following:
Estimated delivery Mon, Jan 11 - Thu, Jan 21
Tracking number: Tracking number UPAAB000000#########
- Click on the UPA number. This should open up a Shipment Details window, which should contain something like this:
This shipment has been transferred to CPC for delivery to the final destination # 70351#########
-Click on the Canada Post number to see where the Canada Post Tracking history and expected delivery
How do you know it went to the wrong address? Is it an old address of yours? If so, have you gone there and asked the tenants?

Hello!
Thanks for the responses. I have been busy with life and work of late. I appreciate all of you penning in. I have some details and updates.
- I know the item # as the ebayer (Seller) was nice enough to leave me + feedback - I used that to find a non-working link, but an item #
- a few months ago, my Ebay purchase history went completely blank. However, I logged in just a few days after making this thread and found that my account has at least the purchase in question back in its history (Yay?)
- I have gone through PayPal.com - after contacting the Ebay Team. This was not easy to do ; their site seems to exhibit a loop-behaviour when using the Contact Us link.
- Ebay.com has informed me while on phone and later in the email that the purchase protection is well beyond their period of guarantee and that the parcel is now lost in transit and un-trackable somewhere.
- I have been told to file a dispute with PayPal.com and I am still waiting on a resolution.
