In order to deliver the parcel, the post office would have to ignore both the street address and the postal code.
So it is more likely that your parcel is still with Canada Post.
Since it is tracked (or you wouldn't be worried by the incorrect report) the call should be to Canada Post.
Check on the canadapost.ca website for the appropriate number. You may find that the error is already in the process of being corrected.
Btw it has been my experience that the telephone clerks are the most helpful, followed by the local post office (not outlet) counter clerks. The phone clerks are in New Brunswick and are lovely. Of course.
With cities amalgamating all over the place, the postal code is more important than the town. For example, an item addressed to Kanata will still get to Ottawa, or to Don Mills will arrive in Toronto.
