Is there any advantages or disadvantages to scanning my receipt from the post office to message a user thanking them and telling them their item is in the mail? I am thinking this may make a person think twice if they were going to pull a fast one on you. Maybe thinking to not bother messing around. And sometimes I think it makes no difference. I am wondering if anyone can think of any reasons why I should or should not do this. Thanks!

Does anyone else scan their postage receipts to msg the buyer after it's delivered?

I would say it would make very little difference but it all depends on each individual right..
Most people receipt or not know if it is trackable so I would say it does nothing at all for preventing cases being opened ...
What I would say it would do is help with Shipping Cost DSR as you are providing proof of the shipping cost but it could also work against you because if your item shipping cost is say $25 your receipt will show just that well you may have charged $27-$30 (just throwing random number in) to include fees you are charged and handling a.k.a time and packaging ..
I have never done what your doing but I can't imagine it really being worth your time as once a person receives parcel they can see how much you paid anyways and once any individual has made up there mind nothing will change ..
There are alot of scum bags on ebay but alot more good people at the end of the day your do what you feel is best and many will apprciate it and many will not..
