There are good and bad people everywhere.
I don't ship to Africa, although until recently I would not have worried about Egypt and I have never worried about South Africa.
Your best bet is to start with Canada and the USA only, then extend to Australia and Europe as you gain experience and confidence.
BTW, it is also a good idea to do some buying on eBay before trying to sell. Builds your feedback and gives you an idea of what the customer wants.
