Hover Preview?

Searched but search revealed nothing - thought this was asked and answered - hover preview of first post before opening.  Will it return?

If they decide to add the hover, I hope they make it a preference which can be turned off.

Why would you turn that off Sand? Personally, it's the thing I miss the most here and I don't understand why someone don't want it

It's irritating in the same way that most pop-up windows are irritating... it blocks other text which is on the page.

When it's turned on, I always find myself looking for a "safe" place to park my cursor so that I'm not bombarded with pop-up windows.
