I have an Ebayer contacting me with accusations. I have politely responded to this person's accusations, and before it got to a point where it won't serve me, I placed him on my blocked list and blocked him from communicating.
Was fine for a couple of days, until just now I open my Ebay and he's back. How did he get through.
Im going to have to call Ebay if this persists. I don't have much faith in that, but it's my last resort.

'Hopefully he has moved on to some else who needs his expert opinion' I took to mean, 'Hopefully he has moved on to bothering someone else who DOESN'T needs his expert opinion or has stopped bothering people with his so-called expertise altogether'.
Couldn't have said it better myself

But, what is his expert opinion?

As a seller, I've lost track of the number of times that I have received an unsolicited and therefore unwelcome advice or opinion about a listing. (Not a question, that is different.) Messages like this come from self-proclaimed 'experts' who seem to think they know better than anyone else. It's almost impossible to guess what they hope to gain by missions like this. Self-satisfaction?
I like to "help out" people if I find a mistake in their listing...
Once somebody was selling a Hot Wheels car called the Mighty Maverick. In their description, they said the name was Super Van!!
I messaged them and told them...
Another time, somebody in the US and $52 in shipping to the US. I messaged them about it and they ended the listing.
It is just a nice thing to do.

And I appreciate help from other sellers because , sure I have made some listing errors. I received messages to alert me of those errors, but as in my recent case, you don't start off by sending a message like ASIAN FAKE!!!. Even though I assured him this is authentic he proceeds in not a friendly manner to advise me of some very stupid detail does not appear correct. But he didn't use the words dosent appear.
Long story short. He is the expert and I'm just a dummy. Even though I have been dealing with my nitch for about 13 yrs longer than him. Based on his estimates.

Really, it is a little fun looking for errors in others' listings, especially if it is something I know about.
Yeah, it probably is not a good idea to message somebody and say something like "YOUR ITEM IS FAKE. CHANGE IT OR OR I WONT BUY IT." I've never had somebody correct me like that, but I am sure others have. 😉

That's correct: no seller wants to list something with inadvertently incorrect details and therefore leave themselves open to an Item Not as Described claim. There is, however, a big difference between a message from another member correcting a factual error and an opinion. And, once again, so much of it comes down to the tone of the message. Hostility has no place here.

YOUR LISTING AINT RIGHT. THIS CAR IS MADE BY DODGE, NOT CHRYSLER. YOU SHOULD CHANGE IT OR NOBODY WILL BUY FROM YOU BECAUSE YOU IS WRONG.

Hello there! I was just looking at your car for sale and noticed that you said it was made by Chrysler. It was actually made by Dodge in 1997. I used to own one back in the day, but sold it to somebody that needed it more than me.
Thanks.
