Hi,
I'm trying to revise a listing to add Canada as a shipping country and so that the listing appears in canadian Ebay search results.
I click the "add international shipping" from the options but all it adds is three little paragraphs of directions.
I don't see any drop down menues to select Canada or in the services when I add one.

You're limited to what changes you can make once you have bids and I'm fairly sure that includes shipping.
Have a look at the shipping section for the U.S. and if it is greyed out, that means that you can't make any changes to that section.

Hello 'marcode',
According to this, you should be able to edit the shipping details:

Now whether or not adding a country consitutes a 'shipping detail', hmmm. You've probably seen this link about how to revise a listing, so if adding a country is one of those 'greyed out' areas it mentions, then perhaps not:

Are you listing on eBaydotCA? You are in Canada and asking on the dotCA boards so it would seem normal.
If you do, Canada is what the Sell Your Item form calls "Domestic".
You can also add a specific bidder, even if his country is blocked.
However, although the percentage of US bidders has dropped in the past few years, they are still our biggest market. I'd suggest not worrying about your current auctions, which have bidders and spending more time looking at the "Custom Destinations" in the Shipping section of the SYI form.
BTW, if you use this, make Canada a custom destination with its own price and leave the rest of the world in Add More Destinations or the higher overseas price will shoe to your Canadian customers.
