How do I cancel transaction if a seller taking too long to ship paid for products?

I ordered some products and seller responded to my email that the products will be shipped with tracking numbers send to me shortly. It is now going to 3 days and the seller has not shipped the products. How do I cancel the transaction and order the same products from other sellers?

You cannot cancel your order, only the seller can do it for you, - after you ask.  Also, a seller has 7 days following cleared payment in which to ship the item to you.  Most do not take that long, but 3 days is hardly an outrage.

What do you do when you cancel only to find that the next seller takes even longer?

While you can't cancel the transaction, you can open an item not received dispute if the seller is taking too long to ship the item. You have up to 45 days from the time you paid to open the dispute. Open no later than day 43 to be safe. You will receive a full refund from PayPal unless the seller can provide a delivery confirmation number that shows that you received the item.

here is how to open the dispute.

Errr- three days? THREE? And today is a Saturday and Monday is a National Holiday.

If you need it that badly, let me introduce you to a concept called the shopping mall.

Sheesh.

Don't be silly.

reallynicestamps - you missed the point, How come the item was not marked as shipped, not, was it shipped.

my experience, this month,

seller one - I hit BIN, I pay, they mark ship the same day B-), as the ad says. No problems so far.

seller two - I hit BIN, I pay, I wait 10 days for item to be marked as shipped :O, even though ad says "ships 2 days after receiving cleared payment", funny ?:|, didn't know clearing a payment took so long :^O. Lets hope for their sake, that the post office is on the ball. ]:)
