How is it that a buyer with at least one Unpaid Item strike can still show up as having 100 per cent positive feedback?

I think a buyer who fails to pay should receive an automatic and visible negative feedback so other sellers know. As it is, a seller has no idea if a person repeatedly failed to pay, repeatedly paid very late or only paid after the Unpaid Item process was initiated. Right now, sellers don't have the same amount of protection as a buyer does, and cannot leave any feedback except positive. That's not right.

Btw sellers can protect themselves by setting up rules that buyer with unpaid item strikes are banned from buying off them.

The ability to leave negative feedback for buyers was removed years ago. Too much abuse and "revenge" feedback were part of the problem.

Thanks for your help. After years on eBay, I didn't know you could block buyers with unpaid item strikes. I have done as you suggested.
