How is it that the moment one of my listing is active, there are at least 2-3 immediate views? Of course, I am not complaining that I am receiving views but I feel that somehow, a few E Bay members are privy to this info, making it unfair to other buyers, including myself.
Does anyone out there have any info on this?
I feel that these "Chosen Few" have inside information. I do not believe it is a coincidence that this happens. Think of it this way, I sell coins, stamps or whatever; if I list something at a low price, by mistake or otherwise, these "Chosen Few" will usually get first dibs at the item. This also works the other way, when others list a good deal, others have very little opportunity to purchase.
I AM CONVINCED OF THIS !!!
Does anybody out there have any views on this and want to share.
Let's expose these E Bay Illegal Buyers.

It sounds to me that you are on several Favourite Sellers lists.
Your listings will be seen by them whenever they open their eBay.
If you think your prices are too low, you could switch to using Auctions. With a 7 day closing (the usual time) lots of other customers would have time to find you.
Or raise your asking price on Fixed Price listings.
And remember, better a fast nickel than a slow dime.

I must be doing something wrong. I am on several Favourite Sellers lists and I have never seen any of their listings when ever I open my eBay. I always wondered "why join a favourite list", I did but obviously I am missing something.
My previous question has nothing to do about how I price my items or putting them in an auction. My question revolves around how I get immediate views on my items. I guess my answer might be "the Favourite Sellers List".
Does this favourite list "trigger" every time that I make a change to an item or list a new item? I guess another way to ask this question is; if the viewer is on line and on eBay and that person is looking at an item (not mine) and all of a sudden, I list a new item, does something happen (bells, whistles) to alert the person that I have just listed a new item?? Whatsup with that?

For quite a while now, not exactly sure but maybe over a year, these immediate views are showing. It has nothing to do with actual viewers. When you activate a listing, these views just show up - perhaps you count as a viewer, and eBay counts as a viewer! This is just something that either eBay thinks will encourage buyers and sellers, or, more probably, the side effect of some other change or addition that was made, thus coincidence indeed. I remember another post about this some time ago.

I guess that we Canadians are a trustworthy lot or naïve enough to think that what I suspect, isn't happening. I sure do hope that it isn't the latter.
