I do not have a pay pal account, I do not want one, can I still purchase with visa?

I just want to make a small purchase, for which I bought a prepaid visa gift card for. I think I've paid for my item on eBay but I'm not entirely sure because on the statement it says "pending transaction" and the screen that popped up is insisting that I sign up for a paypal account.

my question is, do I have to sign up in order to complete the purchase?

You should be able to pay without a paypal account however only some prepaid cards work on paypal. When you go to my ebay and click on purchase history, does it show if your item is paid for or not?

thanks! I think it worked out just fine 🙂 the history is all good. I'm new to eBay so I just wasn't sure.
