I have an headset which I start from low bidding price but unfortunately there are not many bids on it and I will lose money on it. Can I take it out before the last day?

Hi .. I see one item and no bids. You can end here..

Should not use a starting price that you are not comfortable. A lot of bidding occurs as the listing approaches it's end time.

Effectively, sellers can end any listing at any time. If the seller has bids, he should cancel them first, or the listing will be sold to the highest bidder.

Heidi is right- never start an auction at a lower price than you can comfortable accept.

And having met your comfort level, stay calm. Most bids don't happen until the last few minutes of a listing.

BTW, another lesson. One reason that most bidding happens in the last few minutes is that bidders are often only shopping in the last few minutes.

This means that 10 day auctions are a waste of your time. The bidders who are still shopping will bypass your item in favour of one ending sooner.

But the oneday auctions are really only about 12 hour auctions because of the time it takes for the listing to "index" and appear on site.

Most auctions are seven day, long enough for a large number of bidders to find it, but not so long that they get bored and buy elsewhere.

EBay's advice is good for eBay, not necessarily for sellers.

Since there are no bids, you can increasing the starting price right now.

Non paying buyers deserve unpaid item strikes.
