I purchased a Rogers HD PVR scientific Atlanta from eBay, I keep getting messages that my DVI & HDMI is blocked and the picture goes to 720 I. Any one know why this is happening. I have another Rogers PVR but there is no problem with it.

Maybe it is a stolen set and is registered under

someone else's name

I think that maybe a phone call to Rogers would be in order. Check the serial number with them, and if everything is cool, then register the box. That is something that is usually required any way before they will work right.
