I paid paypal instant after win, instead of using his Vendio Checkout. He's asking for payment

I paid paypal instant after win, instead of using his Vendio Checkout. He's asking for payment now and won't reply to any of my messages. I have his email and sent mail through ebay as well.  As though all my communications is going to his spam folder. Should I just sit back and watch? Or open case for not shipping item before seller opens non payee. Ebay should tell him I suppose at that point. Would like to have item rather than the money. The ebay Help/Contact button is a joke.

If more than seven days have passed, open an Item Not Received dispute.

If he cannot prove delivery, you will be refunded.

Seven days because if we sellers don't ship after Day Seven from payment/purchase, we lose our Seller Protection.

Are you sure he even has a Paypal account? It's unusual for a seller not to, since all the approved electronic methods cost about the same as PP, but his may have been closed down by PP for some reason.

Have you checked your paypal account to see if your payment went through?

Thank you for your informative posts. Issue has been resolved thankfully. It seems he's had an email address mix-up.

Seller was expecting communication through a different email address. All good now.
