I want to order two items from a company. How do I do this to keep my shipping costs down?

It depends where the seller is located and if they are using GSP. Could you please give an item number for one of the listings. You will that about half way down the page on the right side.
Also...is it two of the same item or two different items?

Use "Ask a question" at the bottom of the page of one item you want to buy to request a combined shipping to the seller. Mention all items you want and give your adress. You should receive a response in 1 or 2 days, maybe faster.

The biggest problem would be the GSP if the seller is using it.
Apparently, combined and discounted shipping is not currently possible with GSP .
You could ask the seller to make you a private listing, using your name as title, with correct, combined and discounted shipping by First Class International (USPS).
Many US sellers do not know that FCI now offers Delivery Confirmation. Be sure to mention this.

Possibly available on ebay.com with a cart, but maybe it's another misleading GSP glitch.
