I want to buy a product from someone in the UK, and im in Canada. I want to purchase it using my bank account through paypal?

Hi .. If you have a PayPal account and have added/confirmed your bank account you are ready to go.

PayPal issues an echeque on your bank. These take 8/9 days to clear to seller who will not ship prior to clearing. PP automatically converts foreign currency to canadian.

If searching on the UK site make sure the seller offers shipping to Canada.

Items over $20. are subject to any duty+ taxes (Customs). Your responsibility and payable on delivery.

Meant to add.. Canada Post charges an $8.50 fee if Customs charges are assigned. Not all items are inspected and some arrive without any additional costs but don't count on that happening.

Avoid Courier shipping ( UPS/FEDEX) as both charge expensive brokerage fees.

One more thing.. some sellers require immediate payment through PayPal. Cannot do without a credit card on your account.

Can tell by clicking on the shipping/handling section in the listing and under PayPal will show.. immediate payment required.
