If you have item on with buy it now and you have a starting bid, when the auction ends and the starting bid is lower than the buy it now is that what it sells for.

most items when listed like that the Buy it Now disappears after
the opening bid so you are supposed to sell it for that price.

After someone puts in a bid on the item, the Buy it Now option should
disappear - unless there is a reserve price. If the reserve has not been met,
the Buy it Now option will still be active.
Once the auction is over, the high bid should be the winner, unless there
is a reserve price that has not been met.
