Incorrect PayPal email address

Hello,

I have an auction up in which I just noticed I had accidentally added an extra letter to the paypal email address making it ".comk" when I went into the revise item page and I cannot change it now. When the auction is over, and I send the invoice will the buyers payment be sent to my paypal email on my account or the one typed in the listing page? If listing page how can I correct this? Also how can I double check that I have the correct paypal email attached to my account ? Thanks.

Re: Incorrect PayPal email address

End the auction NOW.

If your buyer pays promptly the payment will go nowhere and your buyer will be annoyed and frustrated. Also there will be no way for you to get the money.

Don't try to revise. END IT. So it costs you ten minutes and 30 cents for the listing. It could be much much worse.

If you have any bids, let your customers know what is happening so that they can re-bid if they are still interested.

The Air Jordan shoes?

Your customer demographic is testy and entitled. Don't try to use common sense with them. As I said, just end the auction and relist.

Re: Incorrect PayPal email address

You can change the PayPal email address when you send an invoice.

Re: Incorrect PayPal email address

But what if they pay before an invoice can be sent? Some people actually pay immediately as soon as they have won the item. I agree, cancel then relist correctly and take a chance that the bidder will see the newly listed item.

Re: Incorrect PayPal email address

You can log in to your paypal acct. and you can edit your email address there. I would also check and make sure it is correct in your ebay acct. too. If you have any problems call PayPal.

Re: Incorrect PayPal email address

Op wont be able to add the address that doesn't exist.  Since its the domain that is wrong no one will have it.  If the buyer paid you'd have to get the buyer to cancel.    If its the auction that is running now, its  too late to end

Re: Incorrect PayPal email address

It's not too late, but the seller must end all the bids BEFORE ending the auction, otherwise he has to sell to the high bidder.
