Is there a way to leave feedback for cancelled listing? (Already paid but received wrong item)

So this hasn't happened to me before and it was honestly just a $1 item so I wouldn't have really cared to just resolve with the seller but they basically sent me a totally different item then I ordered and the listing was cancelled with no updates from ebay about why it was cancelled. Item number is no longer valid so I can't leave feedback or contact seller directly about the item. I have past msges from them though saying the item was sent with the item listing. Is there anything I can do to leave proper feedback for this?

Is the seller Not A Registered User? That means he has been kicked off eBay, quite likely for repeated offenses like the one you had.
You don't have to worry about feedback. The main purpose of FB is to let other members know what kind of treatment they will get from the member. Since he's gone, it's not necessary.
If he is still a member, you can go to any FB he might have left for you and add a Response. The deadline for FB is 60 days after purchase but Response is allowed indefinitely.
