I recently bought an item on e-bay & it was suppose to be shipped out within 1 business day , A couple days went by & I haven't recieved the notice that the item has been shipped out so I contacted the seller on 2 seperate occasions & haven't heard no reply from the seller . Should I file a resolution thru e-bay or give it a grace period for right now & see what happens ?? This is the fist time I've had a problem with a seller when purchacing an item . I'm interested in all feed backs .
Thank You .

Hi bsch.. Not all sellers find the time to mark as shipped or print their postage through eBay/PayPal.
Is it your item of the 13th. An excellent seller so what's to worry about. If you don't receive your item in 3 weeks perhaps then enquire.
You have 45 days to open an item not received dispute.

That little brown envelope icon that some sellers use to mark an item as shipped means nothing at all, not really. Some sellers use it correctly and mark it after they get back from the mail box. Some never bother at all. And a few will mark it shipped and then not get round to mailing it for a full 3 weeks afterward, -- you'll know this by the postmark when you see it.
As you know you have 45 days to file your claim should the item not arrive, - 43 days is recommended. That's loads of time. And after 30 days and no item, you'll get a notice on your Purchase History page telling you to go to the Resolution Center if need be. So if you check in with any regularity at all, it's not like you'll be taken by surprise ever. But your order here is only a few days old, so I am sure it will be along soon. Coming from the US that could be 2-4 weeks.
