Hi. Have you ever experience to see your item(s) removed for no reasons, not even for policy violations? I noticed it happened a few times a few months ago and now again this week. I was checking the inventory and realized that this item is not on my eBay when it should be.
Any of you knew why? Again it has nothing to do "removal by policy violations", it just removed from my eBay. I even am not sure when it was done, probably a few weeks ago which I didn't noticed until I went through my inventory. Thanks. Merry Christmas.

The most blatant example I've had was when we were culling stock preparatory to moving west.
I had ten bookcases with five or six bookshelves each holding 20 or so books each. Should have been easily 1200 book listings, plus my dress patterns and postcards.
I actually had about 700 or so listings on that ID in all categories.
At one point eBay was notifiying us when a listing had been up unsold for 16 months, and that was useful. Books are slow sellers, so the time didn't bother me much.
I haven't seen that lately. And I used the Note option to show when an listing is posted.
I wouldn't mind if they dropped into my Unsolds. It's the total disappearance that bugs me. You too, eh?

Sometimes... a sold listing will show up on eBay.... as some sellers have found...
When this appears to happen.. the listing gets removed by me..... and then I find the item was not sold....
Inventory temporarily lost ...sometimes..yes... sometimes .. not

Sometimes I thought I had something listed and I did but somehow it got missed in relisting. Part of that is my issue as I didn't have a store, used free listings, had about 800 listings at the time and relisted when I could. Ended all listings during the postal uncertainty and tried to use drafts and it dropped anything over 200 (?). So somewhere in the mess about 20 got missed, whether ebay dropped them or not I will never know. I suspect it was all the fiddling, I was doing.
Now with a store, there is way more control, everything is GTC and I don't worry too much about the listings. I just now concentrate on listing new listings. Also every so often I take a shelf of CD's, and review the listings, possibly change the pricing etc. That is how I found the 20 missing.
If ebay drops a listing they should give you a heads up, but that might be in my dreams.
