I had to made a refund today to a customer because of a back order issue from the customer and i am out $11.50 paypal fee and $15 ebay final fees because it's pass the 60 days.
Paypal said it's their "policy" that no refund can be issued after just 45 days, what a rip off!

Over 60 days is a long time to keep a buyers money......

I've had the same problem, back in the days when I used Canada Post international surface - by the time you're pretty sure the package is lost (60+ days) you can no longer refund through Paypal, and end up eating the PP fees for the payment to the buyer.

ebay was courtesy enough to say they'll refund me the final fee.
but not Paypal, whose arrogance continues to surprise me.

I just got this email from a buyer today. Shows you what she thinks of PayPal.
Hi. I just bought the above item. However on going through PayPal, one of the most obnoxious and hard-to-use websites ever, I ran into some difficulty because it keeps insisting I already have an account and then when I try to access it, I can't. I tried to put the payment through but I am not sure if it went through. Please let me know if it did or not. Thanks very much.
I have a lot of buyer that have had trouble paying through PayPal. Ironic since that is what PayPal is for?!!!
