EBay isn't what it used to be. There was a time when if you had 19 watchers on an item, you'd have fun watching the feeding-frenzy in that last-minute scramble. Today, it seems, 19 watchers are tire-kickers. I think they are watching as a way to keep it on their radar should you drop the price on a relist. I got one bid on an item last night that had all those watchers and the one bid came from a buyer with zero feedback. No payment yet, so we'll see how that evolves. And this is an item that once upon a time would have gotten well over $100 even in less-than-perfect condition.
Oh, I miss the good ol days. Today, it's so hard to predict how things will go.

"Vintage and Antique fashion have a huge following and I'm pretty sure that will always be true."
That is good to know as almost all my jewelry is "vintage" (new from old stock). Very few newer than 25 years old. So I should be selling a lot more than in the past few years.

I hope some of it rubs off on you too.
Good Luck.

That tells me its just a fad with people who want to imitate Lay GaGa and before them Carrie Bradshaw and Stevie Nicks.
Lady Gaga made her name about 6 years ago.
Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) debuted in 1998 and the last movie was in 2010.
Stevie Nicks was born in 1948 and made her name in 1977 with Dreams.
That covers a lot of time and pop culture.
It also leaves out fashion fads and trends begun by Brideshead Revisited (1981) and continued by the Great Gatsby (2013).
Which pretty well covers the last forty years in fashion.

Yes, and Downton Abbey has also revived an interest in 20s fashion.
Just LOVE the flapper era!

When I became a seller in 2007, I used to sold at least 2-5 items daily for almost 2 years and all of sudden it changed and it is not "search ability"! Why eBay changed it, I dunno!! Sad! Had eBay not changed it, I would continue to sell a lot of items daily like in 2007. Sigh!! Now it seems that eBay is focusing on junk companies like China, Hong Kong, etc., selling **bleep** junk items and that don't have good customer care!
