Paypal not offered as payment option

I've been having trouble with linking my paypal to my ebay auctions. In step 4 my friend is able to select paypal - his paypal account. All I have is other visa,mastercard money orde and other online payment. I choose other online payment but it doesnt link to paypal.
I've gone to paypal already and linked my paypal to my ebay account but the paypal option is still not available.
I use ebay.ca while my friend uses .com . Could this be part of the problem? Is there an option somewhere I need to change?
Any help would be appreciated.

The paypal option is not yet available on .ca. I thought I saw somewhere that it is suppposed to be available sometime this month.

That is correct. PayPal will be integrated with the Sell Your Item form very soon.

Can you also push some buttons there so that they also allow paypal to enter a tax field?

Today you can only enter the ite, shipping and insurance
