I've never had this problem before!
Has this happened to anyone else? And is there anyway to change settings or something so I can receive the invoice?
Thank you for your help!

You as the buyer cannot opt of the program since you didn't opt in in the first place. It is the seller who opted in the progam.
With or without the program, you do not need an invoice to pay for your item. Just click on the Pay Now button.

See my detailed answer below. After a bid is registered, the only thing that can be done to get out of the GSP is for the seller to put in a cancel transaction or bid retraction and REPOST. If you are the winning buyer, seller may agree to send you a cancellation request and repost as a buy it now for the amount you won the item for. Seller would need to let you know right away so you can buy it without losing out to someone else. Otherwise the message will keep coming up "you can't send invoice..... etc."
OR the seller can try to generate a MANUAL invoice on PAYPAL for the amount of the item plus shipping other than GSP. But this does not always work and it can be a pain in the neck.
If you pay the invoice with the GSP shipping, and the seller ships to you directly bypassing Pitney Bowes, you MIGHT be able to get Pitney Bowes amount from the shipping centre *usually in Kentucky) from EBay, but don't count on it.
I had a seller agree to ship it to me directly USPS to Canada, in writing, then he stuck on the shipping label to Pitney Bowes (which is USPS by the way) not even looking apparently, shipped it to the PB centre in Kentucky, and I was billed by EBay-PayPal the cost from Alabama to Kentucky USPS PLUS the cost from Kentucky to Canada Priority International and broker's fees. Duh!
