Setting up shipping and listing thinks I am in US

I am a Canadian seller.  However when setting up listing the shipping thinks I am in US.  Why would this be?  I just sold an item and the shipping calculator was working.

On the watch that you sold, I can't get a shipping price for either Canada or the U.S.

I don't understand why you think that when listing, the calculator thinks that you are in the U.S. What gives you that impression?

Are you listing on eBay.com..... the US site

or

Are you listing on eBay.ca...  the Canadian site.

If you are listing on eBay.com  then  all of your postage options are US options... including the US Postal Service

Reason for not being able to get calculated shipping is because ebay support told me something was not working.  They said they had to check their software.  So I had to add note in my listing that I would be charging flat rate.

My guess is because my package did not meet the minimum size requirements.
