Should Political Parties be able to use content by news organizations for free in their ads?

There was a leaked cabinet document that said the Gov't is planning on introducing another Omnibus bill in a few weeks and they want to include an exception to the copyright laws for political parties only.

It could be something they deliberately leaked to see what the reaction would be.

This is unbelievable! Harperism gone amok!

Harper granting government the ability to randomly override copyright protection in the interest of promoting political ideology! All bundled up of course in another epic Con omnibus budget bill.

All hail the glorious Supreme Leader, "Kim Jong-Steve"
