These Canada Post eBay PowerSeller bags are cool...

Not quite sure what I'm going to do with them since they're not padded and I require padded mailers most of the time, but hey, they're cool. Maybe I'll put padded envelopes into the bags and mail them that way.

Also, I'm quite happy with the PowerSeller Canada Post discount...I think I ended up with a 20% cut off counter rates for within Canada which is superb.

Yay!

No.. I wouldn't say that because I love Christmas. I just don't like it when people think getting plastic crap in the mail is "great because it's free". Who do you think paid for that plastic junk? You did, and I did. They didn't raise the money in a bake sale.

I know nothing's free but I figured that I paid for them somewhere down the line and I wanted them. 🙂

It's kind of like sellers who say free shipping but up the opening bid by the amount of shipping. Helloooooooo! lol

Well, thanks for the economics lesson. Many commercial courier and mail services offer free envelopes and boxes for shipping and if Canada Post are going to start charging similar prices then it is nice to see them finally starting to do the same. Far from being "junk" and "crap" these are things that can (and will) be put to good use.

Thanks for the tip about these. I read this board often, but seldom post, and have picked up some great tips here. So far this one is the best! I have been paying lots of $$$$ for these bags as I use this type to package almost everything I sell, great for soft packages like knitting supplies and clothing. Made from very tuff stuff. I initially ordered 100, received them quickly, and then boldly ordered another 100. Can't see anywhere if there is a limit! Does anyone know? Thanks again for this hot tip!

I don't think so. I ordered 200 on my first order expecting them to be much smaller (around #1 envelope size). They're actually closer to #4 size which makes them infinitely more useful for me. I don't think they'll care how many you order if you give them lots of business. 🙂

apparently the eBay envelopes are now not in stock. But then nothing I wanted was (labels, etc). They only let me place an order for 100 at a time (even tho they weren't in stock!)

Anyone able to order those envelopes again or is it a one-time thing.

Yup, mine just showed up today, along with a ton of labels. Right on time. These are great and will hold most of my 'stuff'. Hopefully re-orders will be accepted.

Malcolm makes a good point, but I think it is a she.... not a him...... maybe someone should email her and let her know that vending free goods may mean the end of free goods....

Why don't we all send her a note, then she will get the picture.

I didt explore the lusting beyond see what they were selling. Good idea especially for all eBayers who are reciving these bags free from CP, you should make a point and having her pull her listing for these.

There is a good chance selling them could be in violation of CP rules about them , just as manufacturers give out free samples and imprint on them "Not for Resale".

For all we know, maybe its a Federal offense to sell government items that are given away by a government agency for free. I think there was something about the free fflags that were being given away that they could not be sold.

I havent ordered any of the bags from CP however CP operates 2 eBay seller sites so it is only a matter of time before someone tells them that the bags they are giving away for free are now being sold on eBay.

You think the person would have a brain in their head about this.
