Under Shipping Policy I keep getting " add a valid value"? can't see what or where?

I have been trying to post an item for 2 days now and am stumped at Shipping Policy...although I have entered an est. shipping amt. in US currency for both Canada and USA ( using calculated shipping for Canada & Flat for US.) it still comes up in Red....Shipping Policy- please enter valid value!??? Valid Value of what and where do I find it, I've been over the edit page several times and cannot find where they are referring to. Grrrrrr Very Frustrating and Time Consuming! HELP!

Oh, I see, this is about as useless as the post page....Trying to post this question, I get...."correct highlighted errors and try again" !!...you've got to be kidding me!...there are NO HIGHLIGHTED ERRORS to correct!! I think I better switch to Amazon, they say that's hassle free.

I, as a seller, am also very frustrated with being FORCED to put in a shipping price. How can I possibly quote shipping charges when I don't know where a potential buyer lives or what kind of shipping or possible insurance they might want? Even if I put a note in the product description to contact me before bidding, no-one seems to see this and they pay the (eBay quoted) price for shipping which is usually wrong. Now I am left as the evil seller trying to get more money from the poor buyer. This has resulted in more than one upset buyer and negative remarks and messages to me. Like the person above says, maybe its time to switch to Amazon or some other on line shopping listing.

I also found the Shipping Policy extremely frustrating, but it can work. After figuring out how much it would cost to ship to 3 locations furthest from me (1 in Canada, 1 in USA and 1 International), I choose FLAT Rate for Canada, US and Worldwide choose the delivery option (usually Standard Air) and put the figures in. I NEVER use calculated shipping, it's always wrong.
