Watch out for this new feature if you accept payment OTHER than paypal.

You know that you can block buyers in my preferences with negative feedback, etc but now there's a new, unannounced one which blocks bidders without a paypal account. Here's the kicker.

Even if you uncheck this option in my preferences, you still have to uncheck it on every listing manually!

I am listing directly on ebay because I'm not sure if the listing programs like turbo lister and inkfrog have caught this yet.

Update - I have 2 ids, it doesnt kick in at all on this one, but does for some fixed price listings on my other id. I havent figured out why yet. Must have something to do with preferences.

Watch out for the blue words "must have paypal account" right under the bid now button.

Thanks for the heads up. It has been mentioned on the US board too, so it is happening to others.

Are regular listings affected or does this happen on Buy It Now auctions only?

I think I have figured it out. If you only check the paypal box on the payment page, it shows up even if you take other payments.
