When the price is lowered on an item do you?

When a price is lowered on an item does ebay send out an email to everyone who has looked at it?  I have noticed on mine and others when I have looked at an item and the price is lowered I get an email.  Does everyone?  

For example, I looked at an item for $10, I did not watch it, just looked at it.  The seller puts it on sale, do emails get sent to all who looked at it?

Afaik: Sent to those that accept eBay emails -- and it's a selection from the stuff recently looked at.

I've been getting those emails too. And purchased a item because of the lower price 🙂

Yes, in the grand scheme of emails, the ones entitled New, Lower Price on This Item You Viewed do certainly get my attention. I much prefer that email to the emails I get sent about 'similar' products for less which most of the time bear little to no resemblance whatsoever to the thing I had actually been interested in buying. I believe those are a slippery slope to products purchased not meeting buyer expectations because I might not look closely at what it is I am buying but buy it based on what I think it is.
