Why can't I see what a buyer bought previously except for the private things?

I I used to be able to see what other items my buyer was purchasing unless the purchases were marked private. Now I can only see the feedbacks and eBay names of the sellers. Has there been a policy change at eBay or have I somehow eliminated that info from my pages? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. I am not nosy, I just like to see how my things stack up and compare with other things they are buying. HELP!!

Policy change, you will not be able to see those anymore. Just search completed listings to find out the items and what they sold for.

Do an advanced search and you can see for 30 days.

You could still see it:

Advanced
By Seller
ByBidder ( you will only see this option once you click before by Seller )
Enter bidder's User ID
Click on " include completed listings 30 days"

You may want to know this, but the buyer's privacy trumps your nosiness interest.

You can see what feedback the buyer left. Who he is buying from (and by looking at that seller's listings the general fields the customer shops).

You can see what feedback and Responses are left by sellers.

These have a direct impact on your chances of a successful transaction.

You also have the right to cancel any bids you feel uncomfortable with and to Block specific bidders.

You can set your Seller Preferences to Block deadbeats, people without Paypal accounts, and entire continents.
