Canada Post is no longer showing tracking information on the web site for inbound packages for tracking numbers starting with the letter R Asian countries.
New Policy is that they do not have to supply any tracking information on the web site for any parcels or Mail at all.

Are you sure that the service being used is trackable? I've seen some sellers give out numbers that aren't trackable anywhere.
Or, is it possible that the item hasn't reached Canada so CP doesn't have the info yet?
Try entering the tracking number at this site...

If your parcel has been in transit for more than
- 15 days from Europe
- 20 days from North America
- 30 days from Asia
Go to the Resolution Centre at the bottom of this page and open an Item Not Received Dispute.
If the seller cannot prove delivery (the sole purpose of tracking) you will be refunded.
If the item is coming through the Global Shipping Program from the UK or USA, say so in the Dispute. It makes a big difference.
If you are not home when the parcel is delivered, the shipper will leave a note telling you where and when you can pick it up. Bring photo ID with your address. You may have to pay duty and/or Sales Tax plus a service fee on pickup, unless your seller used the GSP.
