I'm wondering if anyone has any tips and tricks for speeding up Turbo Lister performance. In order to take maximum advantage of the current promos I'm looking at upgrading my internet to a level with a higher upload speed (I'm at the minimal/basic level of 10 mbps). I'm not sure if it will make a big difference in relation to eBay's servers and local network traffic. I also run BoostSpeed which as the name suggests helps speed up overall computer performance. Has anyone noticed certain times of day when listings tend to upload faster than others? Any tips or tricks would be much appreciated.

Here are some tips that I have used since Turbo Lister was invented. These are at the top of my head, and I may have missed some points. Not in any particular order.
1) Delete the activity log keep it empty
2) Delete the Listing Activity once your listings have ended
3) If you have over 20,000 items split them up into smaller chunks in separate accounts
4) Turn off your virus protection when uploading
5) Compact your files often and backup regularly
6) If possible use a dedicated machine for Turbo Lister with nothing else on it but the program
7) Have a machine with at least 4 gigs or more of ram, the more the better (I use 8 & 12 gigs)
😎 Use a machine with the fastest processor that you can afford
9) Be very patient with the program, if its slow to react take your time and wait for it to load before pressing buttons
Best time to list and upload files is now around 3 am EST
I love Turbo Lister and would be lost with out it. Once you learn it inside out nothing else compares to it.

Thank you so much!!! Once again you're my TL guardian angel, first with the currency conversion during the fall CAD promotion and now this. I do love TL in general and practice some of these tips. I had no idea the Listing Activity could be deleted - I thought it just automatically refreshes itself in every account. I will take your advice about processing power as I will be in the market for a new computer soon; my current one is showing its age after 6 years. I'm impressed that you know the fastest time of day too! I wish it was possible to schedule listings to UPLOAD at certain times and not just schedule their live appearance on the site. (If it is, let me know, I'll be kicking myself.) I only queue up about 100 at a time--more than that and I find I end up with listing and application errors that require starting the process over.
Do you use high speed internet where you are? Just debating whether it might be worth a few dollars a month to upgrade temporarily. The upload speed at the next highest level is approximately 5 times faster than average, with another that goes up to 10 times faster, but I'm not sure if the difference will be that significant. Plus the current promo is good for the next six weeks and that's plenty of time for me to relist everything I have with time to spare. I may be better off putting that money into upgrading my hardware.

I do use a high speed internet but it is not the top speed around. I would save your money for the better equipment. You need a good machine with lots of ram not just to list, but also to work with your TL files. There is no way to schedule a launch of listings in advance with turbo lister.
Once you have listed and relisted your items over and over again. You will have your files clean of errors or problems. I have relisted as much as 5,000 items at once with no problems. Depending on the time you list, your listings may get stopped when you are asked to input your Ebay ID and password. If you catch that happening you simply input the info and it continues to list. I find listing around 3 am to be the best as the Ebay feeds seem to be unencumbered with high volumes of traffic.

"any tips to speed up Turbo Lister?"
I have seen a commercial on TV where a "small blue pill" is dropped in the gas tank of the car and it seems to go faster.
Give it a try. It may work for you!

Turbo Lister just notified me today (at the beginning of spring) about the new FALL seller update that is out today!
There is little hope in speeding up that program.

I thought the buyer had to take the small blue pill to make things around you look like they go faster ...

Confused here. Do you mean the current Can $ change or the 2016 Fall Seller Update which is due soon? Two different things.

"Do you mean the current Can $ change or the 2016 Fall Seller Update which is due soon?"
Neither.
It referred to the Fall 2015 update.
TL was a little behind the times with its update announcement

Now I understand your post. It did not make sense to me And, LOL, I mistyped 2016 Fall Seller Update when I meant 2016 Spring Seller Update to add to the confusion.
Yes, I have noticed old update messages in TL sometimes popping up when using it. I do update TL monthly at least so it is not because I let TL get out of date that old info pops up.
