how can i change my shipping policy during an auction?

I've accidently stated that shipping is $50 to ship worldwide when my intention was for that cost to apply to US only. 
I have one bidder from an international location whose shipping will double or triple what is stated. 
Is there any way I can improve my situation?

You will have to  cancel the bid, end the listing and then relist with the correct shipping amount.
