I think they're useful. I use mine as a 'portal' to my eBay store, with no personal info, but I've seen some cool personal about me pages - it adds individuality. Go for it!

No, but it helps if you know a little HTML. Check out this tutorial page if you don't - practice first, it's fun!

Hello Marcello_capoferni;
I agree with the others. About Me pages are a great way to provide more details for your buyers. You can give them a face to you as a seller and details on your selling terms.
In addition, it gives you your own personal space on eBay with a web address. If you sell offline at trade shows or in a store, you might want to include your eBay web address on it. After you create your About Me page, it will have the following address:
http://members.ebay.ca/aboutme/marcello_capoferri/
In addition, if you use the templates that are set up in eBay for your About Me page, be sure to include the list of your current auctions. This way if you provide people with the above address all your auctions will be located in one place.
Good Luck and Have Fun!

Good idea. Have a look at mine. Don't hold it against me though.
