EBay has several different fees for different categories. For example, my books list for a nickel a month, but my dress patterns cost me 15 cents a month.
Further, eBay constantly has reduced or even free premium promotions, to encourage sellers to list more. Often these sales are just before a Quarterly Stock Report and are meant to indicate to stockholders that the company has lots of customers /sellers.
My WAG is that comics sell faster than vinyl, so eBay has to make the listing fee quickly, while the LP will be a cash cow for fees for many months.
