Price changing in final checkout for all items today

Anyone else seeing this?  I have an 89.00 CAD item.  It's in my cart.  I open cart, it's still 89.00.  I pick payment method, doesn't matter if I choose CC, PP or Google Pay, price jumps to $94.  It's doing it for everything I add.  Aucition is in USD, *BUT*, when I open the auction Ebay already converted at the top number says 89.00 CAD.  I add to my cart and OPEN my cart and it says 89.00.  It's only when I pick payment method it jumps $5.  Never seen this before today

It’s been a while since I’ve purchased from a seller listing in US dollars, but I seem to recall it happening to me, as well. I chalked it up to the exchange rate on the listing page being an approximation based on midmarket rates (what you’d find on a site such as xe.com) and the exchange rate at checkout being what Adyen / Managed Payments uses.

It doesn’t really explain why there’s a larger dollar gap in your first example—which is a lower dollar amount going through Checkout—than your second example, though, unless these purchases were made on different days and the exchange rates were different.

It's the exchange rate fee.
