Because you are well past any remedy you might have been offered by any of the three levels of protection you have when buying on eBay.
EBay allows a Not Received dispute for 30 days after the last estimated date for delivery they gave you on purchase.
Paypal allows a dispute for 180 days from payment.
And the credit card you use to back your PP account has a chargeback program, which will vary from card to card.
When you buy something online, it is a useful practice to mark what you ordered on your calendar on the last estimated date for arrival. Saves you money in the long run.
BTW, it takes about 30 days for items to arrive from overseas, even Asia. If the seller tells you it will take longer, expect that you will never see the item and will have to Dispute to get a refund.
There will be more than two dozen passenger flights arriving in Vancouver tomorrow from Asia, mostly from China/Hong Kong. Those flights also carry mail.
