Is anyone else getting frustrated with the false advertising pictures that are posted on EBay by the sellers?

You think you are getting what is advertised in the pictures, but when you get your item it is totally different and the quality is nowhere close to the advertisement.

IF this is what you are experiencing as a buyer, you need to open a Return Request for Item Not As Described. Do it without delay, there are deadlines to the eBay MoneyBack Guarantee.

Can you tell us more about the item without identifying the seller?

It's my policy to Search using Highest Price plus Shipping First.

Because those higher priced items are (usually) the real thing.

Then I drill down to my price point.

If you see the same pictures being used by several sellers, they are all dropshipping from the same supplier.
